Katrina

9/12/05
We have all seen the devastation on television that Hurricane Katrina did to the Gulf Coast. Marguerite Turner of the Crenshaw Service Club, also was ASD for TOF for a few years and is well known in the PSWR.
Marguerite is originally from New Orleans and her daughter and granddaughter and grandson were living in Baton Rouge when Katrina hit. They spent one night on the roof of their home and watched as it all washed away. They escaped with only the clothes on their backs and are now living here in California with Marguerite.

Please keep Marguerite and her family in your thoughts and prayers and be generous when donating to the relief funds that are out there. There are so many other stories just like this one and we are thankful that Marguerite's family is OK but it will be a long
road ahead of them to get back on their feet and start over.

We all need to do what we can to help in this time of need.  Thanks to all Y's Men & Women around the world for what you have or plan to do in this effort.  I will be glad to add your club's  contribution to this site one your clubs and made its gift.
